Do It Yourself Projector Mount

I just moved back in at Purdue and as I was unpacking I realized I no longer had a TV since my previous roomate (who had the TV) graduated. Thus I decided to use a projector that I had available. The problem here was there is no good place to put said projector so it will be out of the way and project a nice image on the wall. So last night we took a trip to the hardware store to cook up a mount to attach the projector to the loft. This is our story:

Materials Required:

• 1 Projector needing a mount
• 1 Wilton Vacuum Base Vice
• 1 6×6 T-Strap
• 3 Small Screws

The total cost of the materials was $41.47 (and we had some extra screws left over when we were done)

Tools Used:

• 1 Drill (borrowed)
• 1 Leatherman tool
• 1 Pair of calipers

Steps to make the magic happen:

1. Drill holes in T-Strap that match mount point
2. Attach the T-Strap to the bottom of the vice
3. Attach the mount to the projector
4. Clamp mount and projector to loft
5. ???
6. Profit
